About the Role
TasksGrid is recruiting an experienced Drainage Engineer to join our growing team working across Yorkshire and surrounding areas. We generate work through multiple platforms and partnerships, providing a consistent flow of jobs. This field-based role covers reactive drainage work, surveys, repairs, occasional excavation, and an on-call rota for emergencies. You will thrive here if you are organized, professional with customers, and confident working independently.
What You'll Be Doing
- Attending call-outs for blocked drains, sinks, and toilets.
- Carrying out CCTV drainage surveys and high-pressure water jetting.
- Diagnosing issues, recommending solutions, and completing small repairs/patch lining.
- Carrying out minor excavation and digging works where required.
- Providing clear advice to customers and taking on-site payments.
- Accurately recording job details using internal systems.

Requirements
Essential
- 1+ year real drainage experience (not just plumbing)
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Good customer communication
- Comfortable working independently
- Physically fit for manual work
Preferred
- • HPJW certification
- • CCTV drainage camera experience
- • Minor excavation/repair experience
- • Asbestos awareness
