1. Introduction
TasksGrid ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy will inform you as to how we look after your personal data when you visit our website (regardless of where you visit it from) and tell you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.
2. The Data We Collect
We may collect, use, store and transfer different kinds of personal data about you which we have grouped together follows:
- Identity Data: includes first name, last name, username or similar identifier.
- Contact Data: includes billing address, delivery address, email address and telephone numbers.
- Technical Data: includes internet protocol (IP) address, your login data, browser type and version.
3. How We Use Your Personal Data
We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal data in the following circumstances:
- Where we need to perform the contract we are about to enter into or have entered into with you (e.g. providing drainage services).
- Where it is necessary for our legitimate interests (or those of a third party) and your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests.
- Where we need to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation.
4. What Happens To An Enquiry Form
When you send an enquiry through any form on this site, the details go to our own server, which records the enquiry in WhatConverts, our lead management system. From there the enquiry is copied to a Google Sheet that our office works from, and emailed to the team who will respond to you. No enquiry is shared with anyone outside TasksGrid for marketing.
Every form carries a consent box reading "I consent to TasksGrid contacting me about my enquiry and to my details being handled in line with the Privacy Policy." Ticking it is our record of your consent, and the form cannot be sent without it. Alongside what you type, we record the page you sent the enquiry from and the IP address it came from, which we use to answer you and to identify abuse of the form.
5. Cookies And Tracking
Nothing that is used for analytics or advertising runs until you choose. The site loads with every optional category switched off, and only the choices you make in the cookie banner turn any of them on. The banner is provided by CookieYes, and you can reopen it at any time to change or withdraw your choices.
- CookieYes records which categories you accepted, so that we do not have to ask again on every page. This one is necessary for the banner to work.
- Google Tag Manager loads the tags below. It sets no cookies of its own.
- Google Analytics 4 counts visits and which pages lead to enquiries. It runs only if you accept the analytics category.
- WhatConverts runs on every page because it decides which phone number to display, and records where a visitor came from so that we know which enquiries came from which source.
- Advertising identifiers. If you accept the advertising category and you reached us by clicking an advert, we store that click reference in a cookie of our own, named
tg_click, and attach it to your enquiry so we can tell which adverts are worth paying for. It is never written if you decline that category. TasksGrid does not run Google Ads at the time of writing; this policy will name it here when that changes.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
6. Data Security
We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed.
7. Your Rights And Contact Details
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to privacy@tasksgrid.comand we will respond within the period the law allows. If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. TasksGrid is registered with the ICO under registration ZB992140.
