Common questions

What does high-pressure jetting remove?
Grease, fat, scale, silt, sand and root ingress. Directed water at high pressure scours the pipe wall rather than just punching a hole through the blockage, which is why flow is properly restored rather than briefly improved.
Can jetting damage a drain?
It can, on a pipe that is already fractured or badly degraded, which is why the condition of the line governs the pressure used and whether jetting is the right method at all. On a sound pipe it is not damaging.
Is jetting suitable for commercial kitchens?
Yes, and it is the usual method for fat and grease build-up in catering drainage. Many sites put it on a planned schedule so the line is cleared before it blocks.
